I create ceramic vessels and sculptural pieces that celebrate our landscapes and connect me to a slower, more contemplative pace of life.

Using traditional hand building pottery techniques my simple forms, with their burnished or textured surfaces, take inspiration from often unnoticed aspects of our environment - a weathered surface, a hidden layer or a neglected space.

Part of the the joy is the process, often ending with handing a work to the chance and drama of fire, where the resulting atmospheric markings leave numerous narratives to be discovered.
